The SlideMe Ecosystem
SlideMe is not a single product — it is a connected stack of platforms, payments, developer tools, and infrastructure designed to move value the way the internet moves information. The SLD token is the fuel that ties every layer together, and the long-term mission is to replace the legacy card and bank-rail model with an open, programmable, creator- and consumer-owned alternative.
The social and creator surface of the ecosystem. Creators earn through engagement, campaigns, subscriptions, tips, and content-linked rewards.
How SLD powers it: tips, paid unlocks, campaign payouts, fan subscriptions, leaderboard rewards, and creator-to-creator transfers all settle in SLD. Brands fund campaigns in SLD; creators receive instantly with no card processor in the middle.
The everyday digital-money app. Send, receive, request, split, and spend with friends, family, and businesses. Built around rewards and referrals rather than fees.
How SLD powers it: peer-to-peer transfers, cashback on real-world purchases, referral bonuses, loyalty stacking, and merchant rewards are all denominated in SLD. The more the network grows, the more SLD circulates back to users.
Local businesses, online stores, and service providers plug into the ecosystem to run loyalty programs, digital coupons, and branded rewards — without building a payments stack from scratch.
How SLD powers it: merchants accept SLD directly, fund their own loyalty pools in SLD, and pay rewards out programmatically. Settlement is near-instant and fees are a fraction of card-rail interchange.
REST APIs, SDKs, and plugins let any app, site, or community embed SLD rewards, payments, and identity in minutes.
How SLD powers it: developers meter usage, distribute rewards, gate access, and power in-app economies with SLD. Platform fees and revenue share flow back through the same token.
Most tokens are speculative. SLD is designed as a working token — every layer above consumes it, distributes it, or settles in it. That means real demand from real activity, not just trading volume.
Cashback, creator payouts, loyalty, referrals, campaign rewards.
P2P transfers, merchant payments, cross-platform value movement.
Gated content, premium tiers, verified merchant and creator status.
API metering, plugin economies, programmable incentive flows.
Referral pools, ecosystem grants, liquidity for new integrations.
Long-term funding of infrastructure, partnerships, and ecosystem development.
The current payment system — issuing banks, acquiring banks, card networks, processors, gateways — was built for a paper-and-plastic world. It is slow, expensive, geographically fragmented, and hostile to creators, small merchants, and anyone moving small amounts. SlideMe is building an alternative in clear, deliberate phases.
Phase 1 — Today
SLD is already issued on the XRP Ledger and trading on XPMarket. This gives us fast settlement, low fees, and a credible public market while the consumer and creator products scale.
Phase 2 — 2026–2027
Creators get paid in SLD. Consumers earn and spend SLD. Merchants accept SLD and fund loyalty programs in SLD. Identity and KYC (Plaid + Veriff) are wired in so the network is compliant from day one.
Phase 3 — 2028
A fully-backed SlideMe stablecoin gives users price-stable balances for everyday spending while SLD continues to capture network value, governance, and incentives. Together they form a two-token model: stable for payments, SLD for utility and growth.
Phase 4 — 2029
A purpose-built chain optimized for payments, rewards, and creator economies. Sub-second settlement, near-zero fees, programmable rewards primitives, and a bridge so existing SLD holders move seamlessly to native SLD.
Phase 5 — 2030+
SDKs, banking partners, on/off ramps, and merchant acquiring built directly on the native chain. At this point the card networks become optional — SlideMe is the rail. Cross-border, instant, programmable, and aligned with the people actually using it.
